So a friend came to me and let me know that he owns a $3400 3D printer and asked me if I was interested in printing out figures for table-top gaming. HELLS YEAH I was interested. So much in fact, I tried to figure out what I'd need to do to get custom models made. Luckily, I know A CERTAIN SOMEONE who does 3D works all the time. You should check out his blog - he'll be updating again (hopefully) soon, since I know what he's been working on.
SO? What did he come up with? Well, I'll just show you:
Unfortunately, we've had some issues translating it from a series of 3D meshes (DAZ) into a real actual model (solid) which is required for the 3D printer to use. But. We are trying. I'll keep you all updated on the progress there-in. Cause honestly? This is frikin awesome.
Still doing a little work here and there for the demo. I promise I am trying, even though I'm slow to get results.
